We went back to Filton Avenue Primary school to test out the stories that artists have made. We spent the day at the school with groups of children, and had informal discussions with the groups during and after they were engaged with the stories.
Emma had developed a large scale map, that was the basis for her story “The Search”, participants used viewing devices to piece together the story. The large telescopes were made with the sensors and connected to the platform.
Liv illustrated a story about a little girl climbing down a mine, and participants were invited to help the her on her way using tools such as touches, measuring devices, and pick axes!
Amy developed a story that connects participants to the chemistry inside the tablets. The sensors worked as keys into a magical world that she had developed -one that draws from alchemy. It was an audio story, and participants had to closely follow instructions from the storyteller.
